Summer 2024
Throughout summer 2024, we began introducing our fantastic new teachers and team, new school uniforms, and more. In the later summer months, we organised great opportunities to meet together and get to know new students, families and team members. These included home visits and our Summer School!
A new building
We’ve worked together with the community and council to create a building that will serve our students and families. After our public consultation, hosted to hear the thoughts of the public, we have been delighted to share our design plans with you. Look out for more updates later in the year.
Opening day
Our first day of term was 9th September 2024 and we were so excited to welcome our new students and teachers for an exciting day of settling in. We really enjoyed being hosted by Reach Academy Feltham as we waited for the exciting opening of our site, and we are now in our fantastic, purpose-built temporary buildings next door, which you can look at here.
Funding
Reach Academy Hanworth Park’s opening was dependent on entering into a funding agreement with the Department for Education. This has now been secured, and we will continue to update on progress of our new permanent school.
