A small school

Reach Academy Hanworth Park will have 90 students in each year group—from Nursery all the way to Year 11.This means we’re big enough to maintain an expert staff team with a wide range of specialisms. It also means we’re small enough to develop strong and lasting relationships and a deep understanding of the individual needs of every child and their family.

We arrange the school day to ensure that staff and students form excellent relationships. We invest heavily in training to ensure our school community is calm, supportive and boundaried. We employ expert practitioners to support the mental and physical well-being of our staff, students and their families.

Develop excellent teachers

We know that a great teacher is the single biggest factor in determining excellent student outcomes. We invest heavily in thinking about what great teaching and learning look like, and how we support our teachers to get better every day.

Leading an all-through curriculum

We have developed a rigorous, carefully sequenced, cross-phase curriculum to ensure consistency and coherence throughout our students’ educational journey. Students’ knowledge builds cumulatively during their time with us—with teachers able to establish clear links with topics and concepts studied in other subjects and in previous years.

The all-through nature of our school enables all children to access specialist teachers and resources from a young age.
