Appeals
Where a child has been refused admission to Reach Academy Hanworth Park the parent has the right to appeal against that decision.
The deadline for appeals for secondary is 13th April 2026.
The deadline for appeals for reception is 15th May 2026.
All our appeals are heard by an Independent Panel and they will be doing this as follows:
- Teleconferencing – no specialist equipment is required other than a telephone.
Parents may appeal using the form below – (Notice of Admission Appeal form) and returning it to the school. Appeals will be heard by an Appeals Committee, Clerks Associates UK, who act independently of the Governors in making their decisions.
- Videoconferencing – using an appropriate secure video conferencing software
- In writing based on written submissions only – should the occasion arise when the panel requires clarification on any point(s), the clerk will contact both parties via video/telephone conferencing call. We will ensure that appellants are informed as appropriate.
Admission to Reach Academy Hanworth Park is co-ordinated by the London Borough of Hounslow. If you have any questions about admissions to the school, please contact us at admissions@reachacademy.org.uk.

For new pupils wishing to be considered for entry under the pupil premium oversubscription criteria, either in-year or as a new pupil for Reception or Year 7, you’ll need to apply using our Supplementary Information Form (see below). We will work with the council to ensure that your Supplementary Information Form and Common Application Form are joined up.
A child is eligible to be considered under the pupil premium when the following apply:

- income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- income-related Employment and Support Allowance
