As a new school, we want to create our own distinct identity, whilst also building on the success and style of our neighbour school Reach Academy Feltham. We know that what we wear affects how we feel and behave, and we want all of our students to feel ready to learn and work towards a life of choices and opportunities.
A uniform with shared identity
Reach Academy Hanworth Park (RAHP) will share many of the same uniform staples as Reach Academy Feltham, our first Reach School. These items will be supplied by School Uniform Direct in Staines. We’ll be keeping the most popular, tried and tested items and intentional differences between Primary and Secondary age groups. However, our new school will have its own character and identity as we have carefully considered our colour palette, logo, and detailing. Our RAHP uniform will feature new items, a new block colour logo, and display our recognisable warm hues through classic reds and timeless burgundys.
A uniform that grows with our students
We want to celebrate the all-through journey our students will take with us by reflecting their growth and development through their uniform. Children will start their Primary years wearing our vibrant red shade in the form of smart polo shirts, cosy jumpers and comfortable P.E kits. As they move up through the year groups, they can expect to move to an elevated and aspirational uniform – perfect for our young adults. Our Secondary uniform will feature attractive maroon suit blazers, comfy but sophisticated V-neck knitwear, and a new tie featuring our staple double-stripe in grey, also worn at Reach Academy Feltham. We want our pupils to feel confident and equipped to master their subjects and enter the world of higher education and work. We believe a smarter dress can aid this mindset.

An inclusive and fit-for-purpose sports uniform
When thinking back to our own school days, we may remember feeling uncomfortable or even embarrassed in our PE kits! . Reach Schools are promoting change. We have reviewed responses from a student-led survey and student focus group at Reach Academy Feltham to make sure our sportswear is inclusive and fit for purpose – we want all pupils to feel comfortable and confident when pursuing an active lifestyle. The responses collected included feedback on temperature control, freedom to move, and current style preferences. For this reason, we have chosen from a broad selection of items created by sports professionals.This means our students will be able to choose from a range of compulsory and optional items that are moveable, breathable, fast drying, and easy to wash!
